Since the management changed, this place has got worse each time I've had to stay. The rooms are consistently poorly maintained, and cleanliness varies. Cost cutting seems rampant, while the office and reception staff's attitude and work ethic have become almost deplorable. I used to value being able to take food away from the dining hall, but that stopped after the change too.

The food is shockingly poor, the lowest quality I've seen in years, and workers have to put it on your plate instead of serving themselves. It makes us feel like children in kindergarten, not professionals here for work. The beds are awful too, with every spring noticeable, so a decent night's sleep is out of the question. Both my room and my colleague's had visible mould and an overwhelming smell. The bathroom fan has a broken bearing and is unbearably loud. If my job didn't require me to stay here, I'd have left immediately. It needs a full makeover, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless significant improvements are made.

The staff are lovely, and dinners are good, so to speak. Still, having workers serve the meals makes you feel like a child. Lunch choices are poor and seem to be leftovers from dinners a week ago. The rooms are sub par.

A little dated, but the rooms were clean and tidy.

The other staff seemed friendly and helpful, once I got past the grumpy guy guarding the mess hall, though I imagine it's a challenging place to work. The accommodation feels like the owners are trying to run it as cheaply as possible. During my stay, my room was mouldy, had cobwebs, and still had old food in the fridge from the previous person. The mess hall guard was grumpy, and an AC unit with a failing bearing woke me at 3am. Those things might be possible to avoid, but they seem unlikely here. I'd stay only if nowhere else were available.
