Vineyard Cottages

The restaurant food was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Simon and Errol are outstanding hosts, and they made the whole experience really memorable. Simon also took us on a personalised wine tour that was 5 star standard. We definitely want to come back and highly recommend it.

The staff were excellent and welcoming, and there’s a great selection of local wines. We chose the bent road sangiovese, which was stunning. The chef really knows how to cook seafood, and the sticky date pudding alone makes the place worth a visit.

The cottages sit in a beautiful garden, and the accommodation made for a memorable stay. Erol gave us great tips on local wineries to visit, then even dropped us off at a local restaurant for dinner and picked us up, so we could enjoy local wine without worrying about driving. Afterward, we sat by the fire in the Vineyard restaurant and chatted with other guests, Erol and Simon. We were also treated to a delicious breakfast. The hospitality was fantastic, and we’d definitely visit again. I’d HIGHLY recommend a stay at Vineyard Cottages.

The shuttle to and from Stanthorpe was a lovely extra, and the service was top notch. This is a superb addition to dining in the Ballandean/Granite Belt region. Newly branded as the 'Vineyard on Ballandean', the team are doing a brilliant job. The menu is nicely succinct and doesn’t try too hard, while the kitchen turns out well executed, high quality dishes. Compliments to the chef and kitchen team. The wine list is balanced, with excellent local choices and a few imported interests, though the local offerings are so good, why would you need them? Good food and service all round. We’ll be back to try the accommodation.
