This is about the pub, not the motel. A few staff members were lovely, but the bartenders made us feel rushed when ordering, even clapping at us to hurry up. When we went back for a second round, one friend ordered a drink and I heard staff muttering about us as we left, like they didn’t want to serve us anyway. The bartenders need more customer service training.

We only went to the restaurant for dinner and waited more than an hour after ordering at 6:15. Nobody told us there'd be a long delay, even though the place was nearly empty, and several menu items weren't available. The food was disappointing for the price: the prawn and avocado stack had just three slices of avocado, and the prawns hadn't been deveined. The rocket in the tomato burrata salad looked like it had been sitting around for days. Such a shame, this used to be great food and good service.

The food was recommended to me and turned out to be good value. I liked the pub too, especially the dim lighting and glass house. The staff were friendly, and I'd come back with a friend.

Everyone in our group was happy with their meal, the food was fantastic. Inside, the dining area also did a good job of muffling the live music outside. The downside was waiting an hour and 45 minutes for dinner on a Wednesday, with no updates from staff about the delay.

We gave up and asked for a refund after more than two and a half hours, and apparently plenty of others had already done the same that night. Even then, the staff couldn't say when our dinner would be ready. My family was furious and hungry, though the staff themselves were lovely. We ended up getting Macca's on the drive home. Absolutely terrible.
