Enzian Hotel - Mt Buller

The Barramundi was the best I've ever tasted, and the rest of the food at Enzian was outstanding. The staff were wonderful too, though they seemed stretched thin because there weren't enough of them on duty, and that affected the flow of the meal. The wine list also struck me as peculiar. I'd never seen one without a Cabernet Sauvignon, which seems like an odd omission given how popular it is with red meat. It felt like a missed chance to offer a wider choice. The food and service were exceptional, but the staffing and limited wine selection took away from the experience.

Our room was riddled with mould. The host seemed to have tried to hide it with furniture placed in just the right spots and a dab of paint. If you care about your health and your family's, book somewhere else. See the photos and decide for yourself. It's hard to believe this place has a 4.5-star rating. They should call it the Mould apartments at Mt Buller.

The traditional decor at the Enzian Hotel restaurant on Mt Buller made it feel warm and inviting, just right for a cozy meal on the mountain. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. The barramundi was the standout for me, the best I've ever eaten. It melted in my mouth and was bursting with flavor. A truly memorable meal, highly recommended.

We were a big group of kids, young adults, and adults, and we all had such a great stay. Ann was so friendly, really engaged with guests, and suggested some great places. Tony, Louis, and Avery were also very friendly and helpful, and made the stay a lot of fun, especially at the hotel bar at night.
