The staff were friendly and helpful, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this Motor Inn again on a future visit. We stopped there halfway home to Victoria, using a Travel Auction offer. Though not modern, it was comfortable and functional. Our unit wasn't large but had enough room for clothes and other essentials. The bed was comfortable, the small refrigerator worked well, the heating was good, and the TV worked well too. The bathroom, with a toilet and shower, was workable. It took a little getting used to the taps to control the water flow, but the shower was good. The location was acceptable, a short drive from the town centre.

The front desk people were lovely and friendly. It was fairly quiet even though the place was packed. Our room was clean enough, but the layout was odd and it was so dark, with terrible, dull lighting. We had to squint to put on makeup, so it was hard to be sure how clean things were. The shower was good, one of those where the water drills through your skin. The bed wasn't the worst I've slept in, but it wasn't great, fine for crashing into drunk at 4am. The decor was about what you'd expect for the rating and price.

**UPDATE** 30/7/22: A friend stayed a second time and had no hot water, as well as no heating. 19/6/22: Room 21 had no heating and could have used a clean. We were moved to room 22 because of the heating. The heating worked great there, and the bathroom was a little cleaner than the first room.

Good for the price, with friendly staff and rooms that have always been clean when I've stayed. I've been here many times on trips to Mount Gambier. It's within walking distance of the sink hole, and the location is good with plenty of parking.

I paid around $80 for one night in a budget room facing the highway. The pricier rooms are farther away. This room looked very dated, as if built in the 60s, but it was clean and nothing was broken. The sink being in the kitchenette instead of the bathroom was a bit odd. Trucks sometimes made it noisy, though otherwise it was comfortable. There's an indoor pool, but it was only open during the day. Macca’s across the road made food easy to get.
