The Barn Accommodation

The garden and its gorgeous roses made this such a relaxing stay. We had a Premium King Room with doors opening onto the garden, and it was clean, really spacious, and well appointed. Dinner at The Steakhouse was fine dining, and the meal was perfect. Breakfast the next morning didn’t disappoint either. The staff were helpful, attentive, and professional. This is my new favourite place to stay when passing through, and I’ll definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed as a group of 11 and the house suited us perfectly. The Barn Accommodation is one of the best places to stay in the area, with a truly amazing setup that feels comfortable and welcoming. The service is excellent, and the rental price is very affordable for the quality. Highly recommended for families, groups, or anyone looking for a great place to stay.

After a very intense year, we took a one-night getaway and it was a pleasure. The king sized bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious, clean, well appointed, and very quiet. The Saturday 11th October 2025 afternoon staff were fantastic, and the facilities were excellent. Our family of six also ate at the Barn Steakhouse, where the food was delicious and the service impeccable. The lovely Sunday day staff helped sort out the billing when we checked out, but the overnight staff member seemed inexperienced and needed to keep checking with her ‘bosses’. At first only my husband and I were going to stay, then at the last minute we brought our four children too. I’d already booked and paid for a superior King room that sleeps up to three with its king bed and sofa bed, then booked and paid for an additional twin room with two beds and a sofa bed. After dinner, we found there were no sheets for either sofa bed and called reception to ask for some. After three phone calls, I was told we’d booked only two people in the king suite and there would be an extra charge for the third. They said they couldn’t provide sheets and we’d need to buy another room. I said I’d pay the difference, I just wanted to make up the sofa bed. I ended the call saying I wasn’t trying to smuggle in more people than the room could accommodate, and that I’d sleep in the car. The twin room had been paid for three people and still had no sofa bed sheets either. They added $30 for the third person at checkout, but took it off after I complained to the Sunday day staff. They expected me to put a child in a room alone. My husband was in one room with two children, and I should have been in the other with two children. The overnight supervisor needs training and oversight, and possibly shouldn’t be in a leadership role.
