Icon on Isa

Room 1 was spotless and everything worked. I stayed one night in late June and thought it was very good value. Check-in was straightforward. There's only a little off-street parking, two spaces outside the gym next door, but unlimited free parking is available across the road outside the Police Station, which seems pretty safe to me. There's no service in the usual sense, just a number to call if something goes wrong. I didn't need to call.

I was left without anywhere to stay in the middle of the night, and Icon on Mt Isa helped arrange a booking for me over the phone and talked me through checking in. The process was easy, and the room was clean. Secure parking, a convenient location and genuinely good customer service.

The room was quiet, with good air conditioning, and it was well appointed. Most places to eat were within walking distance. I liked the automatic check-in. Just a heads-up, the bed is a large single. That was fine for me, but good to know.

My partner had been driving for 12 hours and arrived at 2:30 am. I booked at the last minute, and the woman on the phone was lovely and really helpful. He could check in and pay on his own in the middle of the night using the computer outside. He said the place was clean, comfortable and had a great bed. A good spot to stop.
