Mavis's Kitchen and Cabins at Mt Warning

The Secret Hill was so comfortable, and having fast internet helped since I still had work to do. It’s a lovely place to unwind, with dog-friendly accommodation and a special feel to the space. We stayed between great yoga classes in Eungella and award-winning coffee at Bastion Lane in Uki. Thanks for putting together such a thoughtful getaway.

We spent four nights in the Secret Cabin and loved how tucked away it felt, with green nature all around. Our three dogs were happy there too, especially running up the nearby hill to play each day. The cabin has those homely comforts that make you want to stay put. Thanks, Mavis, we’ll be back! And yes, that’s my attempt at a “MAVIS-llous” pun.

We went for a special lunch, my wife and I, and the food was amazing, especially with the wines they recommended. The produce comes from the huge gardens. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was friendly. Sharon looked after us and made sure we had a lovely experience. Well done.

We came for a friend’s wedding and found the cabins quiet and private, in a really scenic spot. The team made the stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. We mainly dealt with Sharon, or “Shaz” as we got to know her, and she was such a sweetheart. We’d love to return.
