Elizabeth and the staff were an absolute delight, going out of their way to make our yearly reunion everything we hoped for. Mudgee's Getaway Cottages is ideal for a large group, with amazing rooms and amenities that are second to none. The cottages are a short stroll from the centre of Mudgee, with a great pub just up the road. The kitchen had everything, even a rice cooker, and the quality toiletries came in large bottles, with face wipes too. There’s so much to enjoy outside, from the llama and ostrich to the rolling gardens down to the river, swimming pool and BBQ facilities. The amenities were the best I’ve had the privilege to enjoy. We all agreed we’ll be back for another memorable getaway.

The kids had their best school holiday this winter, exploring the farm, collecting eggs with Elizabeth and feeding the animals. We also loved toasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed to feel at home. Thanks to Elizabeth and the team for a wonderful stay, we’d love to book again.

Our young kids spent nearly all day playing in the gardens, and cuddling the bunnies was a highlight. We had another amazing holiday in Orchard Cottage. Breakfast and BBQ dinners on the balcony came with beautiful views, and roasting marshmallows by the fire was a lovely way to finish each day. Thanks for having us back, we’ll be back again.

Elizabeth and Alison were excellent hosts and showed us around. It’s a beautiful, well-appointed bed and breakfast, conveniently close to Mudgee town centre.

We stayed in Orchard cottage as two couples, and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. Everything we needed was provided, in plentiful supply, and the place was comfortable, cosy and had a nice feel, with animals and parking too. It’s a hidden gem in Mudgee with great facilities. Elizabeth and the staff can be proud of it. Thanks from the four of us.
