We loved our stay. The room was fantastic, and the pool area was beautiful. We arrived just as Happy Hour was starting by the pool, and the drinks and cocktails were delicious. The bar staff member was quick and brought drinks to the pool with a smile each time. Breakfast tasted great, though the service was a little slow. The hotel is at the edge of town, which suited us fine since we walked to the main high street. Getting a taxi could be difficult if you can’t walk or drive. We’d absolutely visit again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Gigis downstairs was top tier, with the best meal we’ve had in a while. We also loved the daily happy hour by the pool. This is a lovely country town retreat, central to everything, with so many amenities that they seem to have thought of absolutely everything. We’d 100% come back soon.

The Orchard Suite at The Clairfield was fabulous for our two night stay. It was huge and stunning, with beautiful furnishings and thoughtful extras like apples and biscuits. Everyone on staff was professional, friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant twice and loved both the food and service. A special mention to David for his great suggestions and service. The pool, gym and steam room were lovely too. Looking forward to coming back.

Gigi's was a top class choice for a family dinner, and the customer service throughout our weekend stay was exceptional. We’re a family of 4, and the amenities made things comfortable with the kids. The newly renovated hotel is among the best we’ve stayed in, on par with some of the best in Sydney. Best experience in Mudgee. Highly recommend The Clairfield Hotel to anyone coming to stay.

The pool was great, though a small rail would help people like me with dicky knees get out more easily. We enjoyed our Queen room for 2 nights. It was comfortable, with crisp sheets, big soft towels and plenty of luggage space. The shower was roomy, and daily servicing was a bonus.
