We had a great week at Casa Amore. It had enough beds for our family of six, and the beds were comfortable. The place was fairly clean, with two reverse cycle air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the main bedroom. The interior walls don't reach the roof, so warmth could circulate on the cold nights. The large windows have a lovely view, though the dining area only has three places and wasn't enough for all of us. There was a note saying we could eat wherever we liked. One evening we found two huntsman spiders inside, which really freaked my wife out. I got them out and we didn't see them, or any other critters, again. We'd read some bad reviews, but our experience wasn't like that. There was a smell that we got used to after a while. With all the trees and rain, I expected more mold, but there was little to none. A dehumidifier ran constantly and had to be emptied every day. The kitchen is tiny and only has a microwave for cooking, which was disappointing. We were left with takeaway or frozen meals, though we managed. The fridge is small too, so it seems better suited to a few nights than a whole week. The Barn serves meals, but seemed to be open mostly for breakfast and lunch. There was no one at reception when we arrived, just a sign saying our keys were in the door. We called and went by reception a few times, but didn't find anyone there until the day we left. The cleaners were very friendly. We had a hot spa every night, and the kids showered, limited to 3-4 minutes each. We never ran out of hot water, despite seeing that complaint in a few reviews. We enjoyed walking around the area and seeing bush turkeys and other animals. A gentleman at The Barn gave the kids bird seed so they could feed the chickens in a pen, a small gesture they loved. The TV had an Android stick, though I can't remember if it was a Fire Stick or something else. It had Netflix, YouTube and other services. Another family had left their Netflix logged in, so we watched on their account without setting ours up, and forgot to log out too. They may wonder why so many new shows are in their history. The Wi-Fi uses Google Nest and gave us just under 10 Mbps inside. With six people online at once it was a little tricky, but we all got by. The walks and the atmosphere among the trees and wildlife were lovely. The lack of office staff was disappointing, but the friendly cleaners helped make up for it.

We loved how peaceful and private the place was, and the self check-in was a relief after an hour or so in the car with our toddler eager to get out and explore. The keys were left in the door, so there was no need to stand at reception. The warm music when we arrived was a lovely touch, and we were left to enjoy the quiet. The big spa was so nice. It comfortably fit me, my husband and our baby, and looked out over beautiful rainforest. It sits high enough that no one could see in, so we felt comfortable being undressed by the large windows. They also had crates of firewood ready to use, with fire starters and matches. We went for walks around the property and saw the lake, rustic hanging frames, wooden barrels and a lovely ceremony area. Ecostudio also hosts weddings, and it looks like a perfect setting. The online photos don't do it justice, in our opinion. It was a lovely long weekend away, still a short drive from Brisbane. Highly recommend.

A lovely, scenic place surrounded by nature, and a great escape from the city. The room was beautiful and clean, and I’d happily stay again. You can hear traffic because it’s close to a main road. I’d suggest adding signs for reception, since there are signs for other places but none for reception. Once you drive through to the parking area, it looks like another accommodation room.

Our wedding at Ecostudio Fellini looked amazing, with lush green surroundings and all the animals out and about. Everyone enjoyed the venue and the food. It’s a perfect spot for a small outdoor wedding in nature. Anna and the team made planning easy. They were easy to communicate with, listened to what we wanted and were happy to go above and beyond. We wish we could do it all again and spend longer taking in this wonderful venue.

We were so happy with our wedding here. The setting was amazing, and our guests were really impressed with the food and service. Anna and the team supported us throughout the whole process, kept us on track and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Highly recommend.
