The morning animal tours were the best part of our stay. We fed chickens, peacocks, goats, cows and horses, tried to feed the pigs like Tofu while chickens competed for food, walked a pony and collected eggs. My three-year-old loved the animals, especially Toby, Roger and Abbot, and adored Uncle Matt. He kept crying for them after we left for the Gold Coast. We stayed in the Hibiscus cottage, which had nearly everything we needed to be comfortable. The cooking facilities and heating were well set up, though laundry facilities on the farm would have been a useful extra. I was looking for a family farm retreat away from the city during our Gold Coast trip, and was glad we found Clandula Cottage and Farmstay. I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

The daily farm tours were the highlight for all of us. It’s clear the animals are loved and cared for like family, and there were so many thoughtful little touches that made our birthday weekend feel special. We really appreciated them. Hibiscus house was spacious, very clean and private, with lovely views from every window. My daughter especially loved the upstairs loft. This was our first farmstay and it went beyond what we expected. The owners are wonderful, and we’d definitely return. Highly recommend.

The cottages were clean, cozy and well equipped, and there’s plenty of quiet space for families to play and explore. The peaceful surroundings made it a lovely country escape. The twice-daily feeding sessions were a real highlight, with lots of interaction with the animals. Farmer Matt is wonderful with the animals and children, and made sure everyone felt included. Farmers Matt and Nambok are warm and friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Best farm stay ever, we loved the whole experience.

Farmer Matt and Nambok were such lovely hosts, and made our first farm stay a memorable five-star experience. The animals are clearly well cared for and seem genuinely happy. Our cottage was cozy and very clean, with great amenities, including an air fryer, kettle and microwave in the unit. It exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend!

The kids had a great time on the farm, with lots of games to keep them busy through the day. Matt was patient and fun while introducing them to all the animals, and they loved feeding and cuddling them. Our apartment was super clean and the service was outstanding. We also enjoyed the nice surroundings and some great shaded hikes with the kids. Those lovely sunsets gave us parents a chance to relax while the kids spent time with the animals. Had the best stay and will definitely come back.
