We booked at the last minute and weren't sure what to expect, but the room was very clean and well equipped. It's a new-looking motel off the main highway, with onsite parking and laundry facilities. We arrived late, and the helpful gentleman on the phone explained how to get in. The key code meant we could go straight to our room without waiting for staff. Dinner was easy too, with a bistro just across the parking lot. I also noticed a bakery and Thai restaurant down the street. A great find for even a one-night stop, highly recommend.

The Sunday markets were amazing and within walking distance, as are the beach and everything else we needed. Taree is only a 15-minute drive away, Port Macquarie about an hour up the road, and Newcastle an hour and 40 minutes south. The rooms at Club old bar were immaculate, and the staff were amazing. Service and quality were well worth the money. If you're heading to the Manning, this is the place to stay. Thanks for the hospitality, we'll be back!

I was travelling alone and felt safer knowing my room was in a secured building. The room itself was very clean and well maintained. I received clear, detailed instructions by text on how to access it without going to reception, and they were easy to follow. I stayed for one night on my way to Sydney. Highly recommend, and I'd stay again.

Make sure to visit the bowls club right next door if you stay. Simon, Sharon and the staff were super, and the ice-cold beer and parmies were great. At the motel, Guy was unbelievably accommodating, and easily the best bloke. I've stayed in plenty of mid-priced motels over the years, and this is the best of them: modern, clean and tidy. I'd highly recommend it and will be back.

We tried both the ground-floor and upstairs rooms during a couple of winter stays, and they were equally comfortable and quiet. The place has a calm feel and a great location, close to a restaurant and club, with a mini golf course right there on site. The modern rooms are open, clean and well laid out, with great beds and a shower that was surprisingly spacious. A mini fridge and kitchenette stocked with coffee and essentials made things easy. The staff were genuinely warm and accommodating, and made the whole stay welcoming. It's the sort of place that makes you want to return. Highly recommend.
