Murgon Motor Inn

We weren't told that the restaurant would be closed, even though the website said it was open that night. The seat outside our room was broken and an absolute safety hazard. In the room there was just one coffee cup for two people, no sink plug, and no face washer. Quite dismal.

The location was a bit far for anyone with health issues, and we could smell septic odour near the bathroom. Still, the room was great, the service was great, and we enjoyed our stay. Keep up the great work!

The place has the potential to be a great stop, but the upkeep and maintenance really need attention. Outside the rooms was dirty and strewn with rubbish, the grounds were unkempt, and the pool paving was cracked and breaking away. The BBQ area was filthy, and the BBQ looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The dining area was locked and wouldn't have been usable anyway. Balcony decks were green with mold and covered in leaves and twigs. Inside, the rooms were average, with leaking taps and cleanliness that wasn't great. The TV and aircon switches were hidden behind pillows. Instructions were written on little rolled-up pieces of dyna tape stuck to the aircon, and friends staying there had the same issue. When we needed help after hours, nobody answered the phone, so we had to knock on the residents' door in person.

The internet was terrible, so don't stay here if you need it for work. The room was so unclean that as soon as I walked in, I wanted to shower in sanitiser. When I brought the problems up at the front desk, he acted like he didn't understand. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation.
