The Royal Hotel

Riley’s knowledge and positive attitude made a real difference. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was looked after, even when things were busy, and helped create a warm, enjoyable atmosphere. From start to finish, the bar manager was welcoming, attentive, and calm and friendly with customers. It’s rare to meet someone so passionate about hospitality. Riley is a real asset to the Royal Hotel, and I’d recommend visiting the Royal Hotel Muswellbrook for the fantastic service he provides. Thankyou ❤️

It’s comfortable to sit here, it doesn’t get noisy, and the place smells fine. There’s a great choice of wines, and the food is always amazing. They even made me an old dish once, even though it’s no longer on the menu.

The Royal was recommended by our motel as the closest and best place to eat during our stop in Muswellbrook. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good. I had bangers and mash, my favourite, and it was great, though I was disappointed there was no onion in the gravy, since that really makes the dish for me. We also ordered lamb cutlets with mash and steamed vegetables. Our friends had chicken and vegetables, plus Barramundi, which looked awesome and they said was great. Thank you 😊

The meals were good, served hot and nicely, and the price was reasonable. We came for my grandson’s birthday dinner. It was a bit noisy, but it is a pub, and the staff were very friendly.
