We were able to take complimentary kayaks and life vests across the road to the sandbar for fishing and water play. The location is perfect, within walking distance of eateries and a supermarket. Our apartment suited our young family of five perfectly, with plenty of space, comfort and equipment, plus books and board games as a nice touch. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff member was lovely and courteous. We’ll definitely return and stay longer next time.

After a long drive, we had a great night’s sleep in the comfortable beds and pillows. The small apartment was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. It has a great view and location for walking, with shops and amenities nearby, and the staff were lovely and helpful. One small thing, water spills out because the shower lip needs to be a bit higher. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

The apartment was clean, welcoming and spacious, and the atmosphere was great. Staff were lovely and helped us find places to eat, along with superb views and walks. An amazing place for a night or two.

The apartment had everything you could want, and the views were fantastic. It’s well placed for walks and places to eat, with a lovely village feel in town.

We’ve been coming to Nambucca every year or two and have stayed at Marcel Towers for about 20 years. Penny and her family are wonderful hosts, and you can see the care they put into the riverfront property in the thoughtful improvements made between visits. The in-room drying racks are appreciated after swimming in the river at high tide. It’s a lovely walk from Marcel to the nearby v-wall, especially at dusk after a delicious dinner at the v-wall pavilion. Thank you, Penny and team. Goodbye until next time.
