Pelican Caravan Park

The reception staff welcomed us warmly and were very efficient and friendly. We did enjoy our stay, but wouldn’t recommend the place. It’s in one of the most beautiful locations, though the park itself feels neglected. The toilets and showers are dirty, and the communal kitchen is shabby and unclean. Things look organized and well maintained until you get close. The showers and toilets aren’t fit for human use. The place clearly needs renovation and much better maintenance and cleanliness. With a different standard of upkeep, I assume my experience, and that of many others, could have been perfect. Internet is very poor, with only minimal reception, and other caravan owners said there’s no antenna reception either.

The river views are beautiful, and there’s a walking path on the roadside. We stayed in Oystercatcher 2 cabin, which was awesome, modern and clean, with a comfy king bed. We were greeted with a big smile and friendly face. Phone reception and internet were a bit slow for remote working.

The kids loved the location, and we’d stay here again. Our large family group booked three rooms at this quiet park by the river, a little outside Nambucca Heads. The other guests were all nice and polite. Rooms were a good size, comfortable and well equipped, and met our needs well. There was a BBQ area, and everything was clean and well maintained.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and making us feel right at home. Pelican Caravan Park has clean, well-maintained facilities and spacious grounds with plenty of shady spots. It’s right by the river in a beautiful, peaceful setting that’s great for relaxing and enjoying nature. It’s also a lovely place for families, with a safe, relaxed atmosphere.
