We only stayed one night, but felt unsafe the whole time. The front door wouldn't lock, so we had to tie it shut, and everything creaked. There were spiders all over the unclean place. It’s on a hippie hemp farm, and we felt like we were trespassing. Please do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else in Nannup.

The water is right nearby, and lovely light comes through the trees, with West Australian flora and fauna right at the doorstep. It’s a fabulously well-appointed cottage in an awesome location. I absolutely loved my visit. Thank you, Deb, for creating such a fantastic place.

The bed was comfortable, and the glass doors and windows made it feel like we were sleeping in the woods. At night it was peaceful, the stars were beautiful, and kangaroos could be seen moving across the distant field. We could park right outside our room. The only awkward bit was going out to the cold toilet during the night from our cosy room. The wooden house sits by the lake and had what we needed: a heater, mosquito net, toilet, hot water, nice soap, a small functional kitchen, and a good BBQ and cooking area. Of all the hotels and farm stays we tried around Perth over our two weeks, this was the most memorable. If insects or glass doors on three sides bother you, it may not suit you, but otherwise it’s a place worth considering.

A clean, tidy cabin with a river view. It has what you need and no extra fuss.
