Derek and Sue made our stay especially lovely. They’re kind, genuine, welcoming hosts who were available when we needed anything and went out of their way to help us feel at home. The Garden studio worked perfectly for our four-night stay, and it’s a quaint little cabin with an outdoor kitchen. Sue and Derek have thought of everything to make you feel special, and they’re wonderful hosts. Staying a week would be worthwhile, since it gives you time to settle in and see the places of interest. You won’t be disappointed.

The safari tent was a lovely surprise, with super-comfy beds and plenty of wildlife around to make it feel like you’re out in the bush. It’s also just a short stroll from the Nannup Brewery. Sue was an attentive host, and it’s a beautiful spot. We can’t wait to return!

We’ve just had our third stay at Black Cockatoo and enjoyed every minute. The gardens are amazing, and waking up to birdsong then wandering around the garden feels just what the Dr ordered. We even enjoy seeing the Possums at night 😃. The Wattle Studio is comfortable and cosy, with everything you need. Thanks, Sue and Derek, for another awesome stay. We’ll definitely return. Black Cockatoo is the best place to stay in the beautiful town of Nannup, and I highly recommend it. The hosts are amazing 🥰
