The shared bathrooms were my one hesitation before we arrived, but they were so clean, cared for and lovely that I was genuinely surprised. The whole stay ended up being the best of our trip. The owner was wonderfully kind, even offering to help carry our bags upstairs. She showed us around the hotel and shared the story behind the rooms and their details. The facilities are beautiful and so well maintained, and the tour made the place feel like home. Staying here also helps preserve a piece of Australia's heritage. It's absolutely worth it, so don't hesitate.

Tina was a great host and showed us around the building, telling us its stories. After a long journey, the bed was super comfortable, and everything the town offers is just a short stroll away. There's a nostalgic, old-fashioned charm here that's rare to find. I'd happily stay again next time I need a place in Narrandera.

The bed was so comfy, and the history of the place is beautiful. Tina is a lovely, accommodating lady, and we felt right at home. Thanks so much, Tina, we really appreciated it. If we weren't moving overseas, we'd always stay with you. Anyone who loves history should stay here. Just awesome, do it! Simon and Dia xxxxxx

You don't get this kind of experience in a motel. At the historic Star Hotel, you can feel the past in every room and hear the owner talk about the history of the Star and the Narrandera region. She's passionate about it. I'll definitely stay there again.

Our room, Room 11 at the rear, was quiet, and the King Size bed was really comfortable. We could walk to meals or the supermarket, too. Tina welcomed us with a tour and the hotel's history. We really enjoyed the Star. Thanks for being so hospitable, we'll be back.
