They cancelled our reservation the day before we were due to arrive, even though I had written confirmation and a confirmation number. We’d already committed to flights and car hire based on that booking. They gave us no alternatives. There’s nothing more hidden to this story. They just cancelled, probably because they got a better booking. Don’t trust or rely on these people, and don’t book through AsiaRooms. Beware.

I’m writing on behalf of my parents, Pam & Bob. "We loved the garden, which has been thoughtfully planned to suit the building and was productive when we visited. From both verandahs, upstairs and down, there are rolling views across Hobart to the rocky face of Mt. Wellington. Shops are within walking distance, as are plenty of good places to eat. Bendalls is a lovely find in NewTown, Hobart, a heritage-listed 19th-century colonial accommodation. Karen and Roger have restored it with care and attention to the smallest details. It’s quietly beautiful and comfortable without being too grand, and the price is very reasonable. Breakfast is included, along with the extra treat of home preserves. We loved it all."
