The oysters and lamb shawarma salad were delicious. It's a warm, welcoming gastro pub, with a cosy fireplace at the front. The service was amazing too. If you're on your own and want to watch the world go by over a glass of wine, there are nice window seats near the bar. Thank you.

The place had a buzzing feel, with purple lighting and warmth throughout. Meg mostly looked after us and was a delight. She recommended the Mediterranean couscous chicken salad, which is a must try. The photo I took didn't do the flavour justice, and all the food was fabulous. The cocktails were made to perfection, and all the staff were friendly. A lovely man at the front of house greeted us yesterday and made an accommodation because my friend couldn't sit on high chairs. Thank you again. I wish I wasn't leaving today, as I'd definitely go back!

We had such a lovely dinner with a friend on Wednesday night and were happy customers from beginning to end. The restaurant is beautiful throughout, and everyone we spoke to was welcoming, friendly and took such good care of us. There's lots of choice on the menu and the prices are reasonable. We loved our meal, and I'll definitely be back. There was so much more on the menu I wanted to try.

The restaurant was crazy good, with an outstanding menu. Our lunch may have been the best meal we've had in Newcastle. The staff were amazing and went above to help. The hotel itself is cool, with funky rooms that are surprisingly quiet and comfortable. Just avoid room 7, since the air conditioning unit is outside it and you can't not hear it.

The staff really made our dinner at the Junction Tavern stand out. Everyone was welcoming, knew the menu well, and checked whether we wanted fresh drinks or needed anything else. The food was really, really good, and the atmosphere and decor were great too. We had a fantastic meal two nights ago and would highly recommend it.
