Overnight Reflections B&B

The cottage is a cosy lakeside retreat with a touch of Hamptons elegance, right on the water. Waking to the still lake felt like a deep reset. Overnight Reflections has such a peaceful, harmonious feel that arriving felt like a gentle exhale. After one night, I somehow felt whole again. Narelle and Bill are as lovely as the property. Narelle is warm, thoughtful and truly wants your stay to feel special. Their hospitality is unmatched. Breakfast at the door was such a treat, fresh, wholesome and homemade, and clearly prepared with care. A wonderful place for rest, renewal or a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

Breakfast outside, with the boats passing and water lapping nearby, was such a lovely part of the stay. Narelle brings down a delicious homemade breakfast, and there are homemade biscuits and a coffee machine too. The waterfront boat house is beautifully set up, with a really comfortable bed and a spa bath. I found it so relaxing and would love to stay again.

We first discovered this lovely place in 2018, and this was our second visit. The boat house was already booked out because it’s so popular, but the upstairs rooms were nice too. Sitting by the fireplace on a winter night was wonderful. Narelle is so friendly and made us a really tasty breakfast. We’ll definitely be back.

Public transport nearby can be a little unreliable, so it’s worth arranging a taxi or driving if you can. The owners, Narelle and Bill, were lovely and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. Narelle cooks great food and was happy to answer questions. Their little waterside cottage is roomy and cosy, with a kitchenette, bed, dining table, bathroom and bath. There’s a jetty right outside and covered seating where you can have breakfast by the water. I’d happily come back for a romantic weekend or a family break.
