The Grounds at Callaghan

The apartment itself is new and the premises are good, but the cleanliness was shocking. I had to clean again after the cleaners: there was urine under the toilet seat, hair in the fridge, food on the ceiling and in the microwave, and crumbs under the table. I'm very disappointed that people are paid to do a job and don't do it properly. There was also a dog barking on the premises, and people fighting in the middle of the night.

I couldn't get my photos to post, but please don't book Unit 8/1. It was in a disgusting state, and the cleaners had to be sent back. I slept badly, worrying about how dirty the linen and bed cover might be. Manager Tony has had many complaints. From the reviews, it seems they manage around five complexes poorly and haven't learned from any of it. They just don't care. Never again.

We stayed here when it was new and lovely, but this time was a very bad experience. There was mould on the ceiling, and water dripped from the air conditioning units onto the bed. Units with mould shouldn't be rented out.

The property was nice, but the man answering the out of hours phone made the stay frustrating. We arrived at 8:30pm with three tired children and found the front gate locked. When I called to ask for it to be unlocked, he screamed at me that it was already unlocked, even though it was clearly locked. I can't see why he'd think I'd call for no reason. They should have someone else answer the phone, because he couldn't handle a simple question. We definitely won't stay again.
