The beach was just a 500-meter walk away, and this was our second time there. The house and rooms were nice, but the stairs felt dangerous.

The location was great, but the upkeep really let the place down. One bed had sheets worn through, the ironing board cover was in pieces, there was hair in the fridge, and the shutters were filthy. The outdoor table had sticky glass rings all over it, so it clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Even after we cleared the filters, the tumble dryer kept beeping with errors. Those were minor compared with the faulty hot water tank, which left us without hot water at the taps for a few hours at a time. Both times, we’d been out all day, so it wasn’t from using the hot water. In my opinion, the property needs better management.
