Kelly at Reception deserves a big thank you. We arrived without a booking, and she let us take a quick look at the room before we decided to book. We were lucky to get a corner apartment with amazing views. It was spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, a large bathroom, washer and dryer, and a comfortable King bed. There’s secure parking in the basement. The bus stop right outside makes it easy to get around, and it’s only two stops to Hastings St for 50c. Staff were quick to respond when the TV gave us trouble, possibly because we weren’t using it right. Maintenance came straight up and fixed it.

The in-room laundry was really handy and made our stay more comfortable, especially for a longer visit. We also loved the heated pool, a great place for a relaxing swim any time of day. Noosa Shores Resort is convenient for Hastings Street and public transport, so getting around Noosa was easy. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return or recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The apartments and location at Noosa Shores are genuinely outstanding, easily 10/10. Sadly, our experience with onsite management brought our rating down to 1/10. We’d booked through Booking.com and only needed help finding the right key box. My wife politely asked reception, but was told incorrectly that we must be Airbnb and they couldn’t help. She was then told to “find it yourself.” A simple direction would have sorted this in seconds. Instead, the exchange escalated and left my wife visibly distressed. When I later raised it calmly, the male staff member said he would call the police. We’ve since read other reviews mentioning inconsistent or negative reception experiences. First impressions matter, and this is concerning. To be clear, we had no issue with the property itself. The location and apartments are excellent. Our complaint is about how guests are treated at the front desk. There are two individual apartments in the complex managed separately from the onsite team. Unit 29, on level 3 with no lift, is one example of a great apartment outside their management. The team managing it were first class and couldn’t have been more helpful. If you’re considering a stay, I’d suggest booking apartments 1 or 29 through an individual owner rather than onsite management. This is only our personal experience, shared factually to help others make an informed decision.

Getting around was easy, with free public transport nearby and bus connections to other popular attractions. Our apartment had a fresh, modern ocean-themed design that felt uplifting and relaxing, and the resort has lovely lake views, direct access to the lake, and a beautiful pool overlooking the water. Noosa Shores Resort made our holiday to kick off 2026 feel special. An unbeatable Noosa experience, and highly recommended if you want a resort that feels like a home away from home.
