With direct access to Hargraves Beach, the setting at Sea n Sun Motel in Noraville is relaxed. There are 12 rooms with the basics for a comfortable stay, and it makes a handy base for Norah Head Lighthouse as well as nearby Budgewoi and Toukley. It was under new management in May 2016.

We felt completely uncomfortable here. The owner/manager was terribly unfriendly, and spoke to us very rudely when warning that security would kick us out if we brought anyone back, even though she knew we were going to a Halloween party up the road. Before that, we were told our booking had been cancelled because I hadn't answered her call before we arrived. We hadn't paid in advance, but prepayment wasn't required when we booked. Apparently, fortunately for us, she did have a room available after all. I couldn't believe someone like her worked in hospitality. No good.

There's plenty of space for a family or a group of friends, and you can relax in your own private spot watching the stars. The main bedroom has a luxurious bath with wonderful views, and the home is beautifully appointed. It's close to The Entrance but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. Can't speak highly enough of it.

The beachside deck is a lovely place to have a drink at sunset and look out over the ocean. There's also a great BBQ area and fire pit, and the cost is very reasonable. Great location right on the beach, with awesome new management.
