In Room 12, the broken handle was a problem, and the beds were on wheels without locks, so they wobbled a lot. The microwave was old and yellow, and the popcorn ceiling made me think of asbestos. For a place calling itself 4 stars, I’d expect a TV bigger than 40".

We booked the ParkHaven family room, which had a king bed, a single, a couch and a table for two. The king bed was comfortable, the TV was a good size with decent sound, and the room was spacious and quiet. Staff were friendly, and overall it was clean, although the bathroom fan was dusty and there was hair on the toilet seat. The kitchenette had a sink, microwave, fridge and toaster, but the microwave was rusted and really should be thrown out. The ensuite was old and dated, as was the motel generally. It looked like some work was underway during our stay. An okay place at a reasonable price while passing through town.

The room had recently been renovated, and it was clean and comfortable. Staff were fantastic, especially the gentleman who sorted out my booking after I messed it up online. A great place to stay.

I’m living in my car and paid $132 for a room, then got a confirmation email saying it was booked and paid for. I needed that money, so having to waste it on a room was the last thing I needed. This motel was very bad, and I don’t recommend it. I felt the owners, a husband and wife, weren’t nice and failed in their duty of care. I also feel the advertising was false. They don’t support locals or people experiencing homelessness who need help.

The room was comfortable and well equipped, and the staff were friendly and obliging. It’s very central, just a short walk to the town centre, and the price was extremely competitive.
