We'd been staying in Cessnock motels for years before discovering Potters, and it's now our favourite place there. Crystie at reception was so pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the meals are good quality for very reasonable prices. We'll be back.

For what Room 5 cost, it felt very basic. The room smelled like a stagnant pond, the appliances were dated, and the bathroom vanity had no drawers. The shower was cold and weak, with poor pressure and temperature, and its grout needed resealing. There was no hair conditioner or body wash in the shower pump, and the room service app wasn't available. When I arrived to check in, the receptionist was smoking right outside the office door. We chose Potters Apartments because it was near the concert, but I wouldn't stay again. We checked out at 9:50 am to return the keys, and the reception office was closed.

The ladies at reception were lovely and made us feel welcome. It was a pleasant place to stay, though it needs major maintenance and repairs, and there should be more food choices.

It's really run down and has gone downhill since my last visit. Still fine for a quick beer, but it feels more like a pub than a resort.

We booked 10 rooms for our group, and the whole process was smooth, from booking through check-in. The apartments were modern, clean, and well equipped, and the location was great. Staff were very helpful and the service was excellent. Highly recommend Potters Apartments.
