Jenolan Holiday Park - Campsite

My wife thought the cabin was okay, but I didn’t find it comfortable. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, though getting into the parking space between cabins was tight in my Prado, and I couldn’t tell whether parking on the road in front was allowed. The entrance door was hard to unlock from outside, and inside it could only be locked with a key, which didn’t seem safe for getting out in an emergency like a fire. We left it unlocked while inside. One window had shattered glass. The heat pump was extremely noisy, so we had to switch it off overnight, and cold air from the half-window above the bed made me wear a beanie in bed.

We booked a king cabin at 12:30 pm for just one night, and it was ready by 1:30. We were grateful they could fit in our last-minute booking. Everything was tidy, and although we didn’t use the kitchen or other free park facilities, having them there was handy. The manager was very welcoming, though I’m sorry I forgot his name. A beautiful park, affordable and cosy.

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful holiday park, with lots of nature around and the main part of Oberon nearby. We were on a powered site, so I can’t speak to the rooms. The large amenities block had everything you need, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

The staff were so kind and accommodating when my family and I came to over on for the rodeo. It was about a 15-minute walk from the campsite, and they told us shuttle buses could take us to the rsl and the rodeo. When my boyfriend and I had car trouble, they let us stay a few extra nights at no extra charge, which really eased the stress. We were camping, so I can’t speak to the cabins, but the amenities were fantastic: fires, toilets, camp kitchen with a TV and arcade games, basketball hoop, swimming pool and tennis courts you can hire. We had plenty to do during those extra days, and the spot was convenient, peaceful and quiet, about a 10-minute walk from town centre. We’d highly recommend it and will be back.
