A clean room isn’t the whole job. The hot water stopped suddenly when someone else showered, outside lights shone into our room all night, and the host had an attitude. I don’t mind discoloured grout or faded paintings, but that made for an uncomfortable stay. The room itself was clean, as he pointed out. We arrived earlier than expected and asked if we could check in an hour early because we needed to change for a wedding. He got antsy and charged us $28 for that hour. Some people should move on if they don’t like the work or what comes with it.

We were six blokes travelling on motorcycles, and they did everything they could to keep us comfortable and our bikes safe. One of the best motels I’ve stayed in.

The price was spot on, and we had plenty of parking. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, the bathroom was stylish, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely motel.

We were late for check-in, but the staff helped us with an alternative. The place was very clean and tidy, with great staff and an aesthetic location and ambience.

We had the upstairs two-room kitchen apartment for three people, and the kids loved it. The views over Township and the hills were lovely. It’s an older, fairly small building, but it’s been nicely modernised recently with new furniture and styles, plus good beds. The staff were lovely and put real care into making guests comfortable.
