Our motel recommended the Royal, and dinner there was a treat. The steak and vegetables were cooked perfectly, and we also enjoyed the chicken schnitzel, sticky date pudding, and drinks. We’d highly recommend dining here.

The rump I ordered rare-medium came out just right, exactly how I like it. It was worth the money, and the atmosphere was great. A very hot plate would’ve helped me take my time and enjoy it more.
We called because we were going to miss the kitchen hours while passing through town. Even though they were meant to be closing, they said they’d still make us food. The meal was great, the staff were awesome, and it’s a beautiful pub. My partner and I would highly recommend it.
I haven’t stayed at the hotel, just eaten and had drinks there, but every visit has been a great experience. It’s a clean, well-kept pub, with friendly service and food that comes quickly, usually in about 10 minutes or less. The meals are proper pub food, freshly cooked, hot and well seasoned. My usual choice is the chicken schnitzel. It’s real chicken, crumbed and breaded just right, with no odd bits of meat. The seasoning and gravy are good, and the thick beer-battered chips have a nice outside and good flavour inside too.
The sticky date pudding won over my beloved, especially with two massive scoops of ice cream. At our table, the schnitzel, lamb cutlets and wedges were the favourites. The pub food was excellent, portions were generous, and it was good value.
