Quest Palmerston

The care from the staff really stood out. They let me extend my stay several times and arranged a late checkout when I asked, without making anything a problem. The room attendants also kept everything clean and comfortable throughout. Quest Palmerston is in walking distance of just about anything you need, and it’s especially good if you’re travelling with a dog. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the staff were wonderful and helpful. I’d absolutely recommend it for the value and customer care.

I was charged for the night after my refund was refused. The couch had urine inside it, the bathroom and walls were dirty, and there was some kind of liquid on the lampshade. When I raised it, the man at reception said room service wasn’t available and that I could change the couch myself. They offered sheets but said they wouldn’t change it. See images. Don’t book.

The team, from reception through to management, were incredibly caring. They fit me in at the last minute, looked after me and my young child, and went well beyond normal hotel policy to accommodate my requests. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The room was clean, but the pool area was grubby so we didn’t use it, and the sheets weren’t changed when the room was attended, only the pillow covers. We booked because the website advertised a gym and restaurant, but neither was there. The young man at reception seemed to think that was funny. We also experienced the fire brigade, but no one contacted us at the time or even the next day. Would we stay again? No, not for me.
