Travellers Oasis - Hostel

There are local food shops and restaurants nearby, and it's a good location, away from the hustle and bustle but still walkable. I really enjoyed the hostel, especially the little touches that made the stay comfortable. Some nights guests were loud late on, so better control of noise would help. The owner can be a little feisty, but also quite endearing. At times she felt dismissive, though I understand she is busy.

The pool was lovely, the complex had a quirky, welcoming look, and the laundry facilities were great. We had a private room with a shared bathroom, plus a balcony facing the street where we could eat breakfast. The bathrooms were modern and nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I didn't get to try the outdoor showers, though I've heard good things about them. The staff were friendly and even helped us check in outside office hours. They were very responsive by email and got in touch before we arrived to confirm the check-in details, which was so helpful. The location suited us perfectly, close to the Greyhound bus stop and away from the noisy parts of town, but still easy to walk anywhere. This is my favourite hostel ever. I loved it and would recommend it, and I'd love to return.

The outdoor showers were amazing, and all three shared kitchens were incredibly clean and had every kitchen item you could need. There's a big shopping centre right across the road with anything you might need. Cathy, Gabriel and the rest of the staff were lovely and helpful. The whole place was incredibly clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and I had a great time. My favourite hostel ever, thanks guys.

There were spacious common areas, several kitchens, and nice outdoor spots to relax or have a swim. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and gave me some good suggestions for things to do nearby. I found the other guests to be good quality too. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back. Hopefully next time I'll get to see all the places I missed.
