We were happy with the value when we booked Estilo Bed and Bath through Airbnb. The double bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was a real plus in Cairns. The shared bathroom was clean and matched the listing. Just make sure you read the listing fully, since this is shared accommodation. The location works fine for getting around, although there aren’t many independent restaurants right nearby. McDonald's was handy for a quick bite. There was some noise from other guests late at night, but that’s part of shared accommodation and outside the host’s control. For a budget-conscious traveller wanting a clean room and working air conditioning at good value, Estilo Bed and Bath is a solid option.

The street was so quiet that I never heard traffic at night, which I’ve had trouble with at another Cairns place. Inside, everything felt roomy and modern, with a comfortable bed and nice finishes. I’d wondered if the timber house might carry noise, but the other guests were considerate and it wasn’t an issue. Great value for the price, and I’d happily recommend it.

It’s roughly a 25-minute walk to the Esplanade. Back at the house, the three-room setup keeps things quiet and friendly. The kitchen has everything you need and is very well maintained, and the whole place was spotless. Modern rooms, really comfortable beds, and an easy check-in and check-out, with clear instructions sent beforehand.

An emergency meant I tried to move my booking to a later date. The property said it was fully booked on my original dates, then refused both a waiver and a partial refund, so I was charged the full amount.

The little breakfast kit was a nice surprise, along with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels. Everything was clean and quiet, and the bedrooms were a good size. There are just three rooms: one has its own bathroom, while the other two share one, so it never felt crowded or noisy. Cairns Central Shopping, with a Coles inside, is a nine-minute walk away. Divers Den is right next door, which is handy if you’re taking one of their dive tours. I wanted to stay more nights, but it was already booked. I’d choose this place again on another Cairns trip.
