Homestay at Julie's

This was my worst experience in Cairns. The woman was disrespectful and really annoying, and when I needed serious help, she didn’t seem willing to help. I’ll remember this as my worst stay. Think carefully before booking this place.

Julie really looks after her guests, and there are two lovely cats in the house too. It’s on a quiet street, close enough to the CBD to walk or ride a bike. My bed was very comfortable. The room has air conditioning, though the nights were cool enough that I hardly used it.

Julie offered airport pickup and to cook dinner for us for a reasonable price. The meal was generous, delicious, and came with dessert; we also had a good time meeting the other guests over dinner. Her home is beautiful and cozy, and everything was very clean. Our bedroom had what we needed. The bathroom was upstairs, but that was fine with us. We’d recommend it :)

The worst place I’ve ever stayed. I’d tell everyone to avoid this woman’s house. Just awful.
