Valhalla Lodge Perisher

The lodge is within walking distance of several trailheads, and it made a great base for exploring the region. During summer, Valhalla Lodge provides three meals a day, including a takeaway lunch, so you can set off for a hike well fed. We just finished a three night stay, and Shane and Karen went out of their way to help us enjoy our hiking holiday in the beautiful Snowy Mountains. They're fantastic hosts.

Our four night stay at Valhalla was a lovely base for the Snowies Alpine Walk. Karen and Shane were so kind and helpful throughout. All meals were included, and the packed lunches were very convenient. Dinner was amazing, different every night and restaurant quality. I especially enjoyed the late afternoon nibbles, when everyone shared stories from the day's adventures. The views from the common lounge and deck were stunning. Strongly recommend.

We had four wonderful days at Valhalla Perisher. The walks were beautiful and the location was great. Shane and Karen were incredibly welcoming and helpful, with hospitality that deserves more than five stars. The food was very good, especially the chia puddings, and they provided packed lunches for the walks each day. Would highly recommend.

We spent a very enjoyable week at Valhalla Lodge, Perisher Valley, using it as a comfortable base for hikes on the Snowy Alpine trails. The lodge is beautifully situated, with mountain views, large rooms, and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Shane and Karen were warm, experienced hosts who understood the area and made the experience feel very focused on their guests. We enjoyed their hospitality throughout. Every meal was chef-prepared, varied, thoughtful, served on time, and of the highest standard. It was a delight to spend the week with them.
