Airport Apartments by Vetroblu

For the price, this was a good deal and very handy for the airport, especially with an early or late flight. The one-bedroom apartment was spacious, with two bathrooms and a balcony. You can smoke on the balcony, which could be a plus or minus depending on your habits. It was a little tired and could use some care, but wasn’t too shabby. The towels and linens were clean, and there was tea, coffee and a fairly well equipped kitchen.

The complimentary airport shuttle was right on time the next morning, which made leaving stress-free. We also found the location safe and family-friendly, with a local supermarket a short walk away. Our one-bedroom apartment at Apartments by Vetroblu near Perth Airport felt like home, with lots of space and a well planned layout. It was spotless and well maintained, with a cozy living area, TV, dining table and lovely balcony. There were two full bathrooms, a washing machine and dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen for making quick meals. We’d happily stay again next time, and recommend it to families with or without kids, or anyone wanting a clean, comfortable and convenient place near the airport.

I stayed overnight in Perth on my way to Darwin. The apartment was great for cooking your own meals. Its location near the airport was fine, though there aren’t many places to eat nearby. Since it’s set up for self-catering, Uber-eats might be an option.

We’ve stayed here before, but on this four-night visit the place seemed older, more worn and less cared for. The security gate was broken, as was our flyscreen, and the ironing board was stained. Most concerning was a large wet patch on the bedroom carpet. The carpet was stained too, so it seems an internal water leak had been going on for some time. The whole apartment smelled musty, which we assume was related to the long-running leak.
