The house is nice and well located. We booked through Airbnb and stayed six nights, paying a $140 cleaning fee. I was disappointed to get a bad review saying our group had left the floors and furniture “grubby.” We all have Airbnbs ourselves and respect other people's homes. We followed the checkout list: tidied up, put the bins out, cleaned the fridge, emptied the dishwasher, put towels in the baths, and vacuumed several times during the stay. We didn’t mop or wipe the sliding doors. With a toddler and a baby in the house for six nights, dirty floors and fingerprints on the doors are to be expected. It seems the cleaner didn’t want to properly “clean” and blamed us instead.

The house is well kept and looks like the pictures. If you need personal items, dry groceries, or household supplies during your stay, check the cupboards before heading out to buy anything. I hope future guests take care of the place as they would their own.

Beautifully presented and thoughtfully equipped for all our needs, this was a great place to stay. It’s family friendly and close to public transport, shops, and places to eat.

The outside is just as lovely as the inside. It’s an old house that’s been renovated, with beautifully done ceilings that keep it nice and cool. You’d have an excellent time here.
