Country Comfort Perth

The location is fantastic, the staff are really friendly and seem eager to help with anything, and our stay felt very tranquil. My partner and I stayed on a hot spell, but it was still surprisingly peaceful for a fairly large hotel. Even the pool wasn’t full of screaming kids, and I love that it stays open until 10 pm. For the price, it exceeded my expectations. We’re in Perth often, and this is now our number one hotel for those visits.

During my recent two-night stay, someone came onto the property and stole the clothes I had drying in my little courtyard. I understand that was outside the hotel’s control, but Daniel, the front desk manager, and Kimbo, the maintenance man, went well above and beyond to look after me. I also appreciated their follow-up emails to check I was satisfied with the outcome. Well done, I’ll definitely be back.

The room was good and the location was great, though the service was just okay. It seemed odd to have a toaster and kettle but no plates or cutlery, only a couple of cups and spoons. Our ground-floor corridor felt a bit dodgy, with both ends open to the elements. There’s a restaurant and room service, but I didn’t try either because the kids wanted HJs.

We chose this place for one night because it was close to the airport and offered a free shuttle. The room was average in condition but big, and the pillow was a little floppy. Tobby gave us fantastic service, keep up the good work! We’ll definitely come back when we’re in town.
