Crown Towers Perth

The Sunset Event at Crown Towers was breathtaking. The atmosphere, performances, music, DJs and people all stood out. The hotel itself had an elegant setting, and the lobby at Crown Towers is a masterpiece. Reception was welcoming, with staff who had a first-class attitude. The staff were friendly, respectful and helpful, and the security service was well organised. From the Towers, there’s a magnificent view over Perth city’s skyline.

What had otherwise been a pleasant stay was spoiled by what I believe was a profiling incident with security on my final day. The matter was escalated and reviewed by the Crown team, who responded that they were disappointed my experience with Security hadn’t met expectations, that the issue had been personally addressed with staff to prevent it happening again, and that they looked forward to welcoming me back. Given how serious this was, I found that response entirely inadequate. It came across as generic and dismissive, with no meaningful acknowledgment of what happened. There was no clear sign of a thorough investigation, a sincere apology or reassurance that anyone was held accountable. Profiling incidents should be handled with sensitivity and transparency. The follow-up left me feeling my concerns weren’t understood or taken seriously.

The room was perfect, and the bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. The service team were lovely, too. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for, and we’ll definitely stay again. My partner especially liked the in-room i-pad for controlling the room. Such a nice touch.

Nobu was outstanding, as expected, and the resort pool was incredible. We spent six nights over Xmas and had a good getaway, though it came at a price. The room was okay, not great for the cost. The location was good, but Perth is easy to get around anyway, and having a car was great. Service was hit and miss. We waited 45 minutes for a drink at the pool, and housekeeping missed our room twice. There was no Netflix or airplay capability, though I’m told that’s normal. I’ve stayed at Crown Towers in Melbourne many times, and Perth didn’t quite live up to the Crown name for me. We’ll head back to Melbourne for New Year’s at Crown Melbourne.
