We went in but couldn't stay. The supposed entire house was really just a few back rooms and a kitchen partitioned off from a larger house surrounded by big vehicles. The pool looked shared with the front house, and there was nowhere for us to sit together and watch TV, as the only TVs were in the bedrooms. At 3pm, the traffic was already loud, and there was a rooster crowing nearby. The warning sign by the patio door about guard dogs protecting the other part of the property was the last straw.

We chose to leave ourselves; the host didn't remove us, despite what she claims. We felt uncomfortable after she repeatedly knocked on our windows and threatened to call the police. There were loud animals at night, bugs around the property and an unclean pool. This review describes our experience, and future guests can make up their own minds. I posted this review again after the owner replied with her “truth,” because Google doesn't allow two reviews.

There were plenty of animals to see, including chickens, birds and rabbits, plus the family dog. As an animal lover, I enjoyed that, and the large pool was great on hot summer days. The host was amazing and responded to my requests promptly. With the affordable prices, I really couldn't complain. Keep it up!

Amazing value. I thought I was booking a shared house, so I couldn't believe I had all three bedrooms to myself. The bed was really comfortable and I slept great. I was tired and didn't use the big pool, though it looked really nice, with a large outdoor area. The kitchen had all the utensils I needed, everything was super tidy, and the wifi was good. There was lots of information about the area too. I wanted to stay another night, but someone else had already booked. This is my go-to when I fly into Perth.
