Discovery Parks - Woodman Point

We often stay for two weeks at a time because we enjoy this park so much. There are lots of trees for shade, the grounds are spacious, and the amenities are great. It's near plenty of different activities, yet far enough out to stay peaceful and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The kids had a great time with the playground and pool, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We spent three days on a powered tent site for our first visit, and there was enough room for our 10-person tent, gazebo, and car. The amenities were clean each day. We'd love to come back and would recommend it.

Glad we only stayed one night at the end of our two-week WA family holiday. This was the most expensive caravan park of the lot, yet it offered much less. The camp kitchen was tiny, and the toilet block had only three toilets. Every time I went, they were either out of toilet paper or the paper was stuck. My husband did say the showers had great pressure. The pool was locked at 5:30pm, even though it was still daylight, despite the sign saying it closes after dark. The games room has pool and ping-pong tables, but you have to get the equipment from reception, which closes at 5pm. There was no adult seating by the playground, and the swings and flying fox had been removed. A tree chipper waking us at 7am was a lovely start to the day, not.

The location is good and the park is nice overall. We arrived late, and the check-in staff were great about it. The kitchen was my main problem. It wasn't due to open until 7am, but only opened casually around 7:10, and hadn't been cleaned. There were food scraps everywhere and dirty tables. After paying that much for a site, having to wait for the kitchen to open was frustrating. You'd think it would be cleaned before opening, so why lock it? In four weeks travelling around WA, this was the first locked kitchen and the dirtiest. The WiFi doesn't work either.
