I slept surprisingly well for all three nights. The freeway noise next door turned into white noise that helped me sleep, and I loved the beds and the hot water in the bathtub. The price was fair and the location is great, pretty close to King's Park. Wi-Fi seems to work in rooms near reception: there’s a signal farther away, but no traffic gets through.

It’s cheap and you can walk into the city from here. The place was clean, the beds were more comfortable than I expected, and it had what I needed. The building and facilities are old and run down, though, with obvious patchwork on the walls and doors.

Those strata fees are outrageous, over $1500 a quarter, and there isn’t even a pool. Hotel guests have left very VERY bad reviews, and now the tiny rooms are being sold as apartments for $75,000 - $99,000 more than they’re really worth. Many MANY sold for less than $200,000, and they’re in even poorer condition now while sellers are trying to knock them off for almost $100k more. You don’t want to live here. If you’re an investor hoping for Airbnb income, expect bad reviews.

The bed was good 👍, and it’s cheap, so don’t expect too much. You get what you pay for. The freeway traffic made the room noisy, and the Wi-Fi was very poor, lucky if it worked. There’s a kitchenette, but the appliances are old and not much use for cooking.

A truck was blocking the car park entrance and taking its time while cars were trying to get in. Reception allowed it. What a joke. He can’t park there, and people shouldn’t be allowed to block the entrance. Useless reception. Use your brain.
