QT Perth

The deep bath and choice of two showers, including a rain shower, were a delight. The rooms and views were phenomenal, and the hotel is right by Perth’s main CBD attractions. The QT Perth team gave top-notch service and paid amazing attention to detail, especially the night team. I can’t fault the hotel and will definitely return, next time for a holiday instead of a conference. A very happy EVT Member.

The fries were the only decent part of the meal, crunchy even though they were cold. The steak was cold, undercooked and chewy, while the broccolini tasted earthy, bland and unseasoned. I expected a 5-star dining experience at QT Perth and got a 2-star meal instead. For a hotel marketed as premium, the food quality and temperature were extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t order again unless quality control improves significantly.

For a work trip, QT Perth was easy and comfortable, with a quiet sense of quality. The room was spotless, modern and genuinely quiet, with a great bed and a good workspace that made it easy to reset after a long day. Everything in the CBD is a short walk away, so getting between meetings was simple. Staff were consistently friendly, professional and helpful without overdoing it. I’d happily stay again next time I’m in Perth.

The location is great, but it wasn’t a pleasant one-night stay. The hotel doesn’t deliver at a 5-star level, and management needs to address the staff culture. I asked for breakfast and it was too much for the kitchen, they were too busy even to butter toast. The room service link wouldn’t let me check out, so I had to call reception, but nobody answered. Cleaning left the bath dirty and didn’t replace some of the linen. Staff seemed to have checked out of delivering for guests. I’d try somewhere else.
