Fremantle Hostel

The location makes getting around really easy, and the staff are always friendly and helpful with recommendations or whatever you need. There’s a welcoming, social feel. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, with thoughtful details, while the spacious common areas are nicely designed for relaxing or meeting other travellers without feeling crowded or chaotic. This hostel deserves its 5-star rating. I’d stay again and recommend it for comfort, good vibes and a great experience.

The location made getting around easy: the beach and Fremantle centre are close, and the station and bus stops are about five minutes away. I stayed for three weeks in December and really enjoyed it. The rooms felt roomier than at other Perth hostels I’ve used, and the place was cleaner and nicer too. They also put on guest activities, including Sunday pancakes and movie nights, which I hadn’t come across at other hostels. Thanks for a great stay :)

Giordana was especially kind and helped me sort things out when my plans ran into trouble. The whole place was affordable, clean, and well looked after, in a really cute neighborhood with plenty of bookshops and cafes. The ferry for Rottenest is around a five or six minute walk away, and the train station is about four minutes away. I’d happily stay again!

Everything I needed was right nearby, with the beach in walking distance and freematle station about five minutes away. The hostel sits in the centre of Freo, which made it a great base. I arrived for my working holiday and had the time I needed to get everything sorted before travelling around Australia for the year. Everyone was welcoming from the start, and the hospitality and service were amazing. Special thanks to Ellie for making me feel at home as soon as I arrived. It set me up really well for starting my travels in Aus.
