Wattle Grove Motel

A peaceful spot under shady trees, with birdsong in the morning. The rooms were roomy, neat, and clean. There’s also a good restaurant and bar with reasonable prices, and they can bring food to your room if you want. The staff were warm and helpful. I’d happily recommend Wattle Grove Motel.

We’ll stay here again. The bar and grill on site serves great food at good prices, and the room was clean, in good shape, and a decent size. Being able to park right at the door was a nice extra. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful. It’s at the foot of the Hills, with convenient road connections across the city, and good value for money.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place on our Perth trip. The bar has a nice range of drinks and tasty food, and the rooms were clean with great amenities. The staff were friendly and really went out of their way to help guests.

The laundry room had water leaking from the ceiling, and nobody dealt with it. It was dripping close to an electrical light, which felt like a serious safety concern. The Wi-Fi was awful. When we raised it, management blamed the number of guests and the network capacity, then brushed us off. My Optus 5G only had two bars, so using my own data didn’t help much. The TV had lots of Foxtel channels, but it sometimes went out for hours, leaving nothing to watch. The room had enough space and the location was acceptable. One night might be manageable, but I wouldn’t stay several days. This was our first and last visit, and I can’t recommend it.
