Sunset Place Apartments

The management's attitude was appalling, and they showed no interest in helping guests. The place was grubby and badly maintained, with ineffective soundproofing between units. The concrete floors were cold and dirty, with no mats, and we got only two towels for a nine-night stay. Once we found the communal laundry inconveniently upstairs, we had to wash our own sheets in its filthy machines.

We had more than enough room for two, and the apartment was cute and comfortable. The location was ideal, next to a shopping village, with good parking and great wifi. The owner made us feel welcome and even arranged a time to show us the laundry facilities and ask if she could make our stay better. We’re just about to check out after five nights and are really happy. We’d definitely recommend it! ☺️

We booked for Jan 2021 and arrived to a filthy apartment. There was dust everywhere, debris on the pillows, crust and crumbs on the floor and worktop, and hairs on the sink pedestal, toilet seat, floors and even in the drawers. We complained to the managers, Kiri and Steve. Kiri told us to cancel and said she would refund us, but since then they haven't returned our calls or given us the time of day. This happened on the eve of our wedding and was very upsetting. We wouldn't book these apartments or use LetGoBnB again.

For two weeks of our four-week stay, the heat didn't work, and the place wasn't very clean. They let us leave early instead of fixing the heating. I hope the person who moved in after us was all right, arriving in the middle of winter.
