Ingot Hotel

The Ingot is a busy hotel, which seems to make it popular with FIFO and company staff staying for short or long stretches. It’s close to the air port and has a pool, gym, buffet breakfast and restaurant dining. My room was tidy and clean, and the room service was good. Service generally was very good too, everyone was polite and friendly. Not a bad stay.

I stay at the Ingot once or twice a month, and it’s always a wonderful experience. Bonnie and Andrew deserve a special mention. They’re consistently smiling, attentive and willing to go above and beyond, and they make me feel more like family than a guest. Bonnie greets you at the door with the biggest smile. Andrew’s professionalism and natural leadership stand out every time. The whole team is friendly, welcoming and ready to help, which makes each visit enjoyable. Thanks to Bonnie, Andrew and everyone there for making my stays memorable. Highly recommended!

I stayed the night before a workshop at the Ingot and absolutely loved it. The rooms are among the best I’ve stayed in, really spacious, and the bathrooms have fantastic showers and great basins. We had a lovely dinner and cocktails, and I liked that all the wines were from WA. Very good wines too, like Vasse Felix. The conference room was great, with attentive staff. Everyone was wonderful, from check-in to check-out and in the restaurant and bar. A very well done to the whole team, clearly led by a great Manager. Sorry, I didn’t take any photos.

The shuttle situation is what brings my score down. I’ve had delayed pickups when arriving, seen the shuttle try to take more passengers than it has seats for, and had overbookings in the morning. It’s especially hard if you check in late and have an early flight. Reception has often told me they can’t get me to the airport for a 5am flight, even though they advertise a shuttle and my work schedule depends on it. There’s no way to call ahead to notify them you need it either. Very frustrating and disorganized. The rooms, gym and meals are good, the location near the airport is great, and staff are generally pleasant.
