Oaks Perth Hotel

The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, clean and serving good quality food. My room had a welcome card and looked recently upgraded since my last visit, and the rooms are consistently kept very clean. I arrived from Broome by taxi, which was quick and easy, and check-in was prompt. Checkout was just as fast, with a taxi available within minutes. The hotel’s right in the centre of Perth, with a location that’s hard to beat. I was here for business and plan to return, staying here again. Thanks to the team.

We found a hidden gem. My wife booked through "1st table", which gives half price food for 5pm dining. We had the restaurant to ourselves for a while after arriving, and the young barman welcomed us. We sipped an excellent red wine while choosing, then shared a Bruschetta starter followed by Barramundi and a Lamb rump for mains. Everything was delicious. We’ll be back.

The rooms are clean, with large beds and a fully equipped kitchenette, and the hotel sits right in Perth’s commercial centre. Breakfast ranges from decent to very good, with English and continental choices, pastries, sweets and fruit. The air in the rooms could be better. The windows don’t open, so there’s no airing the room, and the AC just recirculates the same air. The coffee is terrible, but you can ask for a proper espresso at the bar for about $3-4.

Right in the city centre, with the services you need for a restful holiday close by. Perth Station and Bus Port are within walking distance, so getting around town or heading out is easy.
